A free, real-time skateboarding competition scoring tool built for Africa. Run your competition — from a local jam to a national championship — with the same methodology used at Olympic qualifying events.
When you compete at an ASD-powered event, you get a fair, transparent, and real-time competition experience.
See your score and position update in real time as each judge submits. No waiting until the end to find out where you stand.
With 5 judges, the highest and lowest scores are automatically dropped before your final score is calculated — the same system used at Olympic qualifying events.
Every placing at an ASD-scored event earns you ranking points. Build your position in the African skateboarding rankings, visible on your ASD member profile.
Everything runs in a browser. No download, no account needed to compete. Results are published on the ASD Events platform after the event.
Street, Park, Bowl, Jam, Game of Skate — the system supports every competition format used across Africa and internationally.
Judges score on named criteria — difficulty, execution, variety, flow, use of course, and overall impression. You always know what's being evaluated.
Scoring rules by discipline — all based on World Skate and The Boardr standards.

3 judges: all scores averaged.
5 judges (recommended): highest and lowest dropped, remaining 3 averaged. Same as World Skate and The Boardr standard.
The entire system runs in a browser. No software to install. All you need is one device per judge with an internet connection.
Email events@africaskateboardingdiary.com with your event name, date, location, format, and number of judges. We'll set it up within 48 hours and send you the event code and judge PINs.
Athletes can register at events.africaskateboardingdiary.com or you can add them manually in the admin dashboard. Assign bib numbers and divisions by age group and skill level.
Each judge gets a name and PIN. On event day they go to score.africaskateboardingdiary.com on their phone or laptop, enter the event code and their PIN, and they're in immediately.
The head judge has a separate dashboard to create rounds (Run 1, Single Tricks, etc.), start and end them, and view the live leaderboard. They control the flow of the entire competition.
When a skater drops in, each judge selects their name and enters a score 0–100 using a slider or by typing. For runs, they can break down the score by criteria. Scores submit instantly.
The head judge dashboard auto-refreshes showing current standings. Display it on a screen for athletes and spectators. Panel average is shown live with high/low already dropped.
When done, click Finalise Results. The system calculates final scores, determines placings, awards ranking points, and publishes results to the ASD Events platform automatically.
Email us your event details and we'll have you set up within 48 hours. Always free.
